Synopsis Remnants is an experimental piece that explores the poetic narrative. After the world has collapsed, Si picks up his grandfather’s diary and goes through the forest accompanied by two guys who don’t see eye to eye. They are holding on to their remaining memories of the adult world to try and comprehend the current situation… shot in a studio, the film creates a dream-like surreal world made up of stark black and white contrasts and minimalist compositions.

Remarks shared after Festival visit

"Asiana International Short Film Festival is very well organized. From my experience after the trip, the Korean short films were more "main stream" in terms of theme and style than Hong Kong. It was a very good experience that I was encouraged and will continue to plan more short film and feature film projects I the future."

— Shared by Gary Wong, director of Remnants after attending the Asiana International Short Film Festival 2011 in Korea, under the sponsorship of NAE.
