I’m very surprised that there are around 15 screening venues for this event. In Hong Kong there’s no space for the short film festival. The audience are happy to come and queue very early before each screening. We can see all kind of ages. The festival posters are everywhere. French government did a great job for the festival promotion.
I’ve seen two screenings, one from Taiwan, another from England. The screening topics are very diversified. The directors dig deep insight about human. The overall standard is very high.
As for Hong Kong market screening, out of expectation, the audience are very warm. They are very active, and they really enjoyed HK screening. Since It’s my first screening in such an international festival, I’m so glad to see how foreign audience think about my short film. After the screening, they asked me a lot of interesting questions.
I would like to thank NAE for giving me the chance to come to France. It’s a very good experience for me. In the future, I would like to make a long feature film about a time travelling story, which will be quite futuristic and science fiction style.”
