They respect all styles, languages and topics which is a very encouraging environment for filmmakers. Most directors will attend the festival so there are lots of opportunities for us to interact. I met many people in the industry and that is very important for young filmmaker like me. It is important to attend the festival and screenings in person because it is the only way to get feedback from real audience and people who may be interested in working with you in future. I have to be well-prepared for the trip because everyone around you is probably your potential audience / working partner, even one of the Uber driver is a famous movie actor. As the festival director said, the most important thing for attending a festival is to be nice. I can't agree more."
