Remarks shared after Festival

"Being able to communicate with audiences in some other places is an extremely wonderful thing. Sometimes some film festivals do not have enough capability to afford shortlisted directors air tickets and hotel accommodation, and directors would also feel the same stress if they are affording the fee themselves. Thus NAE is offering an absolutely awesome funding to Hong Kong directors, which assists the promotion of Hong Kong’s outstanding short films and directors externally.. [More]

Thus NAE is offering an absolutely awesome funding to Hong Kong directors, which assists the promotion of Hong Kong’s outstanding short films and directors externally. Although I participated Women Make Waves Taiwan for one day only this time, I could still sense the passionate interest of local audiences on female-directed long and short films, whichever makes me further realize, the importance of nurturing a strong film-appreciating atmosphere to the audiences."

I think the most memorable moment for me
when I am preparing to walk through the red carpet. So many stars and directors
are waiting with me and in a way it makes me question myself if I really do deserve this honor. This
time of reflection make me think of what I have done? who am I? am I hard
working enough? It helps me recognise my work and
effort on 2019."
