International filmmakers and delegates gather here every year to enjoy screenings, join workshops and network for future cooperation. The festival emphasise development of film culture to local audience especially to children. Lots of workshops and pop-up cinema screening are organised for children audience which make the festival more educational and sustainable. The hospitality is great and has offered filmmakers good enough catering given limited resources. There are many chances for me to talk about my work and get to know what people are doing outside Hong Kong. This festival appreciates fresh and experimental content. Every work is an eye-opening experience to me. Screening venues spread to different places over Bali the island which also gave me chance to understand Indonesian culture. Important people from big film festival like Clermont-Ferrand and Tampere also join the festival. The festival can be a window for Asian shorts to international audience."
