“It was an unforgettable cross-cultural journey. I am so glad that I got
the opportunity to join this world-class film festival, share my film, attend the workshop and meet different people from film industry. I am also glad that I can
watch so many high standard short films, which have widened my horizons a lot. The ideas of the short films screened are based on different
backgrounds and cultures and they are quite new to me.

The trip also gave me an opportunity to meet with the directors, filmmakers to exchange our ideas
of film. I enjoy the communication with them and I learnt more from them on how
to survive in the film industry and insist to keep going. I could feel both indie and short-film makers are full of
passion towards their career. I hope that more indie-filmmaker can get use of
the advantage of NAE programme to get the chance of falling into line with international film industry.”
