Synopsis Long time ago, there was once a child who went home alone. He was watching other children holding gifts on their hands given by their parents. At that time, he walked past a gift shop and saw a toy which looked like him. The boy sighed and left.

There was no one at home, nor any gift in his Christmas stocking. Out of jealousy and boredom, he bought himself a Christmas present and put it in the stocking. Then he pretended as if he received the present from his family, yelled excitedly and played with the toy he bought. It was already midnight. There was still no one but the poor boy. He stared at the Christmas stocking, and fell asleep. When he woke up, he found his Christmas stocking was full of gifts. He was very surprised. He left the room and found the family were preparing Christmas dinner. The boy ran out and celebrated Christmas with his family joyfully.

“I think that NAE is a meaningful project because Hong Kong students definitely did broaden their horizon from this opportunity of overseas exchange. I personally find the seven films very impressive as they embody worldwide issues in a realistic manner. I also noted that film culture there is very different from our own, possibly caused by a difference in culture upbringing, which then result in very original and refreshing expression of the same given themes..
