The
festival is so energetic with so many things happening in these few days of
festival. I met many filmmakers from different countries. We talked a lot about
the culture of our country and how does it affect the way we make films. We are
all so eager to explore how other places in the world feel like so that we can
embed those cultural understanding into our filmmaking. We are all looking
forward to collaborate.

Paris Court Devant is a valuable experience
for filmmakers especially those who are interested in making short films. This
is a festival that solely focus on shorts of different genres from all over the
world. One can also get a chance to take a look at online short series which
are getting more popular nowadays. The genres of short films can be very wide.
From animation, documentaries to experimental or as television web series. The
creativity of filmmakers and the attitude towards the shorts is important.
Shorts are not just shorter in time but in many ways different from a feature
in terms of its characteristics and presentation.

As Paris is one of the filmmaking centres,
I highly recommend this film festival for Hong Kong filmmakers, as it is full of filmmaking cultures and also very filmmaking-friendly.
