There is a wide range of themes, from Documentary to LGTB theme. I am inspired

“My horizons have been totally widened
after this trip. First of all, I should be thankful that I can visit Croatia, a
beautiful and peaceful country. I think this town is filled with genius of
animations and films, who have caught my attention. There were many different
films and technologies that were completely new to me, and some of them were
even created by a group of children and youth. There were plenty of legendary
filmmakers from different countries who attended the festival. I realized there
are a lot talented teenagers out there in different countries, and I'm
certainly not the best. Therefore, I hope I can acquire more new film and
animation technologies and knowledge to become a successful animator in the
future, such that I can create more animations with different messages that can
arouse people's awareness, and I certainly would love to visit this amazing
country again.”
—Shared by Chan Shun-yut Andy, director
of Disabled, after attending the VAFI - 7th International Children and Youth Animation Film Festival Varaždin in
Croatia, under the
sponsorship of NAE.
