“Take part in the Film Festival
can broaden our horizons, so that we understand the local film culture, and
people around the world deepen our own views and opinions on the film. I think
it is useful to local film students or makers to broaden their horizons. At the
same time, we know and make friends with local film makers and students. I
think the Hong Kong art Center should provide more chance for local film makers
and film students to join the festival from all over the world. Because the film
makers and film students should know their limitation in Hong Kong. As we know,
there are lots of film festivals in the world, you don't go outside, you never
know about how your own film is. The filmmakers would give you many good comments
and you can meet some famous director and got many things from their shooting
experience.”
