Community Screening: “Where is Our Sea?” – A Rhapsody of the Isle

The work having been sponsored by CreateHK under NAE to participate in overseas film festivals for multiple times was brought back to the community again. During this screening, the audience had an enjoyable evening seeing films about “sea” in the autumn breeze.

Hong Kong / 2014 / Col / 30’ / In Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles Dance and martial arts share the same origin. Having practised martial arts for years, a long-term practitioner of martial arts, dancer Hugh Cho, develops a choreography based on fight scenarios. Playing with camera angles and speed of movement, Cho merges dance with action movie and its shooting technique to create a new kind of screendance.
