Remarks shared after Festival visit

The theme of the festival is mainly about youth and young people. Through the exchange with the directors of different nationalities, I understand a lot more on different cultures and the views on the moving images, as well as some in-depth feelings of the directors towards their creations. I am very grateful that I am able to participate in this festival visit to Singapore, and I gained a lot from it. I do not only enjoy a lot of films from different countries and of different styles, but also enjoy conversing with many directors, as well as knowing more about the local history and culture, so as the film culture. The most profound experience is that I realise there is really no boundaries between images and the music - even if it is difficult to describe the meaning by means of text, audience can still feel the atmosphere and the director’s thought with the aid of music.
