Remarks shared after Festival visit

“"Queer" isn't a new concept at all. But it is still not yet well received by general public. Thanks Beijing Queer Film Festival for their long-term devotion to promoting and negotiating the queer culture in mainland China. It is no easy thing to hold any independent film festival in China, especially in Beijing. I am honoured to attend their 7th annual festival.
My film is about school bullying due to LGBT discrimination in Hong Kong. It is also available on YouTube, echoing an international project named "It Gets Better". Hope more and more LGBT friends will make their own "I am ME" videos and post them online. We need to show the public who we are. This is the best way to kill discrimination.
Lastly, thanks NAE again for the sponsorship. Young directors do need this kind of chance to learn outside. Hope the fund will continue to run year by year.
Support LGFT right!!”
